Seasonal Greenhouse Assistants
U.P. Native Plants, a pesticide-free native plant nursery, is expanding, and we are hiring for the 2026 growing season!
Three part-time or full-time positions available. We are looking for detail-oriented plant geeks (or people who have the potential to embrace the planty lifestyle), who are team players, trustworthy, and good communicators. Experience in growing things is a plus; interest in nature is a requirement. Please elaborate on your greenhouse, agricultural, gardening, plant identification, nature, or houseplant experience.
Work includes:
Potting native plant seedlings to plug flats, and plant plugs to larger containers, balancing quantity produced with quality of final product,
Watering the greenhouse and outdoor storage yards, with an eye to matching water quantity to weather conditions and plant species needs,
