How To Purchase Plants

We are a licensed plant nursery. Our greenhouse is a working farm at a private residence.  We do not offer retail on-site sales and our greenhouse is not open to the public.

Please do not "just stop by". We would love to talk with you over the phone or at a plant sale.

Plant availability:

Plants are available through this website or at a plant sale near you late May through November. In May we fill orders placed January through April, and once those are cleared, we begin distributing plants for our May orders. Orders placed in May may not be ready until late June.

If you see 'Out of Stock', please note we are growing more. Please select the "Notify me when in stock" button on the product page to receive an email notification.

Much like slow food being the best food, giving us time to properly size up your plants will be best for all concerned. There is no harm in planting perennial native plants later in the season. These are not tropical pepper plants; they do not need to be planted on Memorial Day. Plants raised slowly and carefully, not over-fertilized and forced, are the best plants. Once they have a good start in their containers, they will love getting their roots into your site, no matter whether it is spring, summer, or fall.

Pickup only:

  • We do not ship. When plants are ready for pick-up, we will contact you through email to schedule a time. You may choose from a 30 minute pick-up window at our Marquette location or a 2 to 4 hour pick-up window at plant sale near you (not all plant sales offer order pick-up).

  • When picking up at a remote sale, please contact us by phone or email to ensure your order makes it into the trailer. Orders must be placed a week in advance for remote sales.

  • Project site delivery is available for larger orders, and may be an additional charge.
