Prairie Smoke - Geum trifolium

Geum triflorum, also known as Prairie Smoke, is a perennial wildflower native to Michigan.
Plant reaches 8 inches tall and flowers early with a red/pink blossom.
It prefers full sun to partial shade, medium to dry soil and will grow in loam, shallow soils, or sandy loam.
Sorry I haven't done a write-up on this one, but it kind of sells itself! It is naturally short, likes sandy soils and sun, has beautiful and unique flowers and seed, and is a bumblebee magnet. What's not to like? We can never keep it in stock...
